15 days UX Writting Challenge

CHALLENGE: 15days challenge UX writting ( all about here )

PROGRAMS: Figma, Photoshop

TIME: 15 DAYS

I know how frustrating it can be to find out that the flight you are waiting for is canceled. Especially when you are on your way to the airport. Some time ago in 10 months I made a trip like twice around the world. Flight cancellations have always surprised me. However, when I saw outside the raging windy weather, I was always glad to be on the ground, not in a rocking plane. In my opinion, keeping others safe is a very appealing notification for me.

QUOT

Everyone is shopping. Some once a week, another every day. Everyone has to plan time for this. We never know how long it will take time. Looking for lemon? No potatoes? Standing in a line? It would be nice if someone would do it for us time to time. During this time we would watch our favorite show or go for a walk.

DAY 1 - FLIGHT CANCELLATION

Scenario: A traveler is in an airport waiting for the last leg of a flight home when their flight gets abruptly canceled due to bad weather.

Challenge: Write a message from the airline app notifying them of the cancellation and what they need to do next.

DAY 2 - SPORTS APP

Scenario: A user is a working parent, and a big sports fan, in the midst of their favorite sports season who can no longer attend games.

Challenge: Write a promotional screen for an app that lets a user choose teams, sends game reminders, real-time score updates and highlight videos.

Headline: 45 characters

Body: 175 characters max

Button(s): 25 characters max

SOLUTION:

I know how valuable the time spent with my family is, but I also understand the lack of it for what is my passion. “You are not alone! You will follow all the games of this season with us. You will follow the results live, and if something very important happens, we will definitely inform you about it.” I would see this information on one of the welcome windows of the application, which is to help me keep up to date with what interests me. Maybe I won’t watch the match live, but I won’t miss it for sure, because “someone” will take care of it. Support and a helping hand. In these two words, I would describe the purpose of this app.

My only concern with this app would be the quality of the products. when we buy fruits and vegetables we choose them carefully. That’s why in the second solution, I proposed an
additional button referring to the opinions of other users.

DAY 5 - UPPS ... error

Scenario: The user works in graphic design. While critiquing a design in a mobile app, their phone abruptly turns off. When they restart the phone, they reopen the app.

Challenge: Write a message that the user will read immediately upon opening the app. What do they need to know? What steps (if any) do they need to take to recover their content? What if they can’t recover the content?

Headline: 40 characters max

Body: 140 characters max

Button(s): 20 characters max

SOLUTION:

Everyone cares about their time. Especially when someone is working on something deeper and deeper. I don’t know a person who will be pleased with the information: “Your application has stopped working” and even less “we cannot get your work back”. THINK POSSITIVE! In my opinion, the information that the program should convey during an emergency should be honest, but also with a grain of hope. That is why I proposed three solutions that convey a negative message in a positive way. Hope you smile to yourself while reading them..

DAY 6 - ALERT on the road

Scenario:It’s Monday. A user has just gotten into their car to drive to work. They plug their phone into the car and start driving.

Challenge: How would you let the user know there’s a fire happening in a nearby town that is causing road closures? The effect on their commute is unknown, but there is a definite danger if the fire gets closer. How do you communicate this to them? When? Write it.

Headline: 30 characters max

Body: 45 characters max

SOLUTION:

When we’re going on a route, even a short one, there is a big chance that we will receive various information related to our route. Therefore, I believe that information about a fire or other natural threat should be properly highlighted.

This is a pop-up message that appears on the map screen or as a push notification when the map is not turned on. I suggest highly contrasting and pictorial message. When I drive a car and I am busy with it, I don’t have time to read long message.
